Coursework

These are all the courses that I've completed during my time at UC San Diego. Checkout the github repo for more details. (More to be added)

EDS 124BR

Teaching Computational Thinking for Everyone

As described by the class's description, the course "Examine issues in computing education (e.g., access and equity). Conceptual and skill development with core programming concepts (flow of control, abstraction, algorithms) using a novice programming framework."

CSE 132A

Database System Principles

Worked with relational database (SQL). Created complex queries, learned about data management, and etc. Check github for assignments and additional details.

CSE 158

Recommender Systems and Web Mining

Learned about data mining and using analytical skills to create machine learning models. The class contains an emphasize on real world data and current ideas from machine learning research. We were in charge of creating predictive models that used modern techniques of machine learning.

CSE 107

Introduction to Modern Cryptography

This class covers "Topics includ[ing] private and public-key cryptography, block ciphers, data encryption, authentication, key distribution and certification, pseudorandom number generators, design and analysis of protocols, zero-knowledge proofs, and advanced protocols. Emphasizes rigorous mathematical approach including formal definitions of security goals and proofs of protocol security."

CSE 8B

Recommender Systems and Web Mining

This class provides "Introductory programming using an object-oriented approach with the Java programming language. Builds on basic programming constructs introduced in CSE 8A to introduce class design and use, interfaces, basic class hierarchies, recursion, event-based programming, error reporting with exceptions, and file I/O. Basics of command-line navigation for file management and running programs. Development, testing, and debugging of more complex programs."

CSE 8A

Introduction to Programming and Computational Problem-Solving I

Introductory programming class. This course laid out the foundation for my first time experience with programming. We worked closely with Python and Java in this class. We reviewed a lot of basic data structures, programming techniques, and different components of programming.
